KinderTrack has partnered with Ages and Stages Questionnaire™ (ASQ), the number one nationally recognized and trusted screening tool for children between the ages of 1 month and 5 ½ years old, to ensure that your child is on track.
Considered the “gold standard” of screeners, ASQ was designed by doctors to track early childhood development and identify areas where early intervention services may be needed.
The ASQ screener is a series of questions for children ages 1 month to 5 ½ years that monitors your child’s development by screening them in five areas:
Communication
What is said and what is understood
Problem Solving
Thinking skills, playing
Gross Motor
Crawling, walking, running, climbing
Personal-Social
Self-help skills, interacting with others
Fine Motor
Small muscle movement, hands and fingers
The ASQ screener can tell you with great accuracy whether your child is developing typically or may need help in certain areas.
The online, confidential and free ASQ screener is completed by a parent or caregiver, because no one knows more about your child than you.
- It takes 15 minutes to complete the 30 simple questions.
- The questions assess what your child can and cannot do.
- Some of the questions will ask you to use a toy, but you may know how your child acts without needing a toy at the time you take the screener.
- You will receive your results packet within two weeks in the mail. Included will be resources and information best suited for your child.
